Affiliation with the AMP Lab is currently open to enrolled students or postdoctoral researchers in any department or program at the University of British Columbia and occasionally other institutions. There are several types of affiliation: Research Assistants/Graduate Research Associates who will have paid positions on one or more current AMP Lab projects; Volunteers who will have unpaid positions on one or more projects in exchange for significant credentials and learning opportunities, and finally Collaborators who will have access to the lab’s equipment and who are interested in working on independent projects that adhere to the AMP Lab’s mandate. Applications will be assessed in relation to the AMP Lab’s goals, and the lab reserves the right to grant or revoke affiliation at its discretion.
