She is a former limited-term Assistant Professor in the Department of Community, Culture, and Global Studies at UBCO. She is also a researcher with the \u00c7atalh\u00f6y\u00fck Research Project where she works with the figurines team. Her research investigates changing human-animal relationships through time and their role in the social organization and maintenance of the Neolithic tell of \u00c7atalh\u00f6y\u00fck, Turkey. Her research interests include cultural heritage, human-animal relationships, ritual and symbolism, iconography, archaeology and ethics, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), and public archaeology.
