Epic Reading and SpokenWeb Sound Institute Preview

Love poetry? Come visit the AMP Lab for a very special event in our Epic Reading Series as we take turns reading out loud work by Canadian poets Sharon Thesen, Fred Wah, and Daphne Marlatt in anticipation of their upcoming reading as part of the upcoming SpokenWeb Sound Institute, Re-Sounding Poetries: Collections, Classrooms, Communities. Cole Mash, Klara du Plessis, and others from the SpokenWeb UBCO team will also preview the institute programming, which happens May 14-17 at UBC Okanagan.
Drop in at any point throughout the event to grab a coffee or a muffin and help us celebrate poetry, build community, and perform the archive.
