Press Play Workshop: Tender Buttons

A selection of the buttons made in the workshop. The buttons read "Darkness is not a dark place", "serene waist is every colour," "a pink is scarlet," "what is a dark place," "what is the current machinery," "black on white and there is every colour," "the wind, FAKE" and finally "the current machinery distinguishes it dark".

The AMP Lab hosted it’s first Press Play Workshop! Participants did a close reading of Gertrude Stein’s poem “The Long Dress,” and then collaged words from the poem with magazine cutouts to create unique and colourful buttons.
