I’d like to extend my hearty congratulations to AMP Lab research associate Dr. Francisco Peña and his team on their recent success in the SSHRC Partnership Grant competition! It’s been such a pleasure seeing this digital humanities project — the Digital Edition of the General Estoria — grow within the lab from its earliest stages as an Insight Development Grant to this large, internationally networked research initiative co-led with Dr. Katie Brown (University of Exeter, England) and Dr. Francisco Gago (College of the Holy Cross, Worcester, U.S.A.), and includes AMP Lab research associate Dr. Hussein Keshani (Art History and Visual Culture, UBC Okanagan). You can learn more about the Confluence of Religious Cultures in Medieval Historiography and the cultural significance of this digital edition in our Season 4 Episode 9 Tech Talk co-presented by Dr. Peña and his 2023-24 postdoc Dr. Miguel Las Heras:
